Egg Bank

Egg Bank

Not Brazil there is no egg bank frozen for centralized donation. What happens is that some fertility clinics maintain their own ovum banks para armazenar óvulos que possam ter restado de algum tratamento em suas pacientes.

Thus the egg bank allows the preservation of eggs for future use or for donation, through the egg cryopreservation or freezing process.

The egg freezing by vitrification is a safe technique, since more than 95% of the eggs survive after thawing and does not generate any kind of malformation or implications for babies born of eggs that were frozen in ovum banks.
