PESA – Percutaneous Epididymal Sperm Aspiration
Treatment Epididymal puncture is indicated in cases of obstructive ozoospermias (post traumatic vasectomy obstruction, Congenital and infectosos) absence of marrow involvement by ejaculation (Diabetic Neuropathy, paraplegic, tetraplegics, impotence). The technique does not require sedation. Consists of manual fixing of the epididymis and the sperm is aspirated with insulin needle, sob local anesthesia. Later, undergoes ICSI fertilization.
